Mindfulness for Beginners 4-Week Course

Have you heard enough about the benefits of Mindfulness to convince you to try it? This class is the perfect introduction for you! Mindfulness for Beginners is a 4-week workshop covering the basic elements of mindfulness meditation in a relaxed and no-pressure environment.

Participants can expect short instructive talks, group discussion and interactive mindfulness activities, including guided meditations. Each week a different aspect of the four foundations of mindfulness will be covered and you will be given practical ways to incorporate them into your daily life.

The registration for this class will open in August.

Cultivating the Heart of Love: 4-Week Loving Kindness and Compassion Course

Coming up on Mondays 6-7:30pm in January 2018
at the Center for Mindful Living
Fee: $80 members, $85 non-members  

This 4-week course will focus on the practices of Mindfulness, Loving Kindness and Compassion. You will learn the formal meditation practices that develop these qualities. You will also learn about their practical applications in your life including your relationship with yourself and others.

Each class will include guided meditations, instructive talks and a group discussion. Every week your will receive an email with homework suggestions to help you incorporate and skillfully apply the teachings and practices covered in the class.

It is recommended that participants have completed Mindfulness for Beginners, MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and/or have a personal meditation practice prior to attending this offering.
